I think the most important thing is whether you feel comfortable driving it. MINI is very different so people would make exceptions.

You might want to do more research before you make a big decision on a car! SearchAutoReivews.com is the easiest way to search for car reviews on all the top automobile sites from one place. Here is the link for:

Dodge and Hakim up there haven't a clue.

I am 6'7", 280. BAGS of room inside. Enough head room for my helmet too, when I autocross.

I have on occassion, gotten the old, "Do you really fit in there?" when I get out of my Mini. I tell them, "No. It's all a product of a deranged mind."

Might I strongly suggest checking out the following website. It will give you LOADS of info about Mini's:

http://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/index.php

Get one. They're safer than most cars and all SUV's, nimble, quick, and a blast to drive. Engineered by BMW, quite reliable. Perfect cars for "You-ification." meaning customizing or modding it to suit you.

As far as "Clown Car" goes... http://www.metacafe.com/watch/89311/mini_cooper/
References :
Your'e kinda tall to drive a MINI. I'd recommend a Toyota Camry. Theyr'e much bigger, reliable and start at 18,000.
If it's a convertible your'e looking for, get a Ford Mustang starting at 20,000.
References :
I work for Motor Trend.

omg i love Minis
they are my obsession, lol
ok anyways, minis go well with ANYONE
they are cute, fun to drive, and really safe. they also get really good MPG. ( 32/40 mpg)
they start at about 18-20 thousand and up, so they are not exactly cheap. dont forget insurance and gas. definately get insurance if ur getting a cooper.
i would recommend starting with a used (or pre-owned, as they like to call it) Cooper (covertible with ur height) and then after some time by a new one. If u go to the site before, you can find a dealer, or customize your own cooper.
dont worry about what other people think, the MINI is one of the fastest cars around. If a guy is giving u a hard time, challenge him to a race. lol
and if ur worried about ur height, then get the MINI Cooper convertible or the mini cooper converible s.
for more info, go to:
miniusa.com
These are all the types of MINIS:
MINI Cooper
MINI Cooper Covertible
MINI Cooper S
MINI Cooper Convertible S
The S stands for sport. This means it just handles better and faster. If you getting a cooper, i would say to get bright, flashy colors, because, well hey, its a flashy car!
this site will tell u all u need to know about coopers. make sure you are a good driver because if u dont have a lot of experience, the cooper can be hard to handle because its so fast.
im thinking that u might want to lease a used car first, or borrow your parents car until ur comfortable driving.

nice taste in cars, by the way.
i hope this helps =]
References :
i love coopers, <3

The registration number is assigned by DVLA when the car is first put on the road, not at assembly.

There are several schemes currently in use. The current scheme uses a prefix to identify the DVLA office that issued the number. The next two digits indicate the year and half year when the vehicle was first put in service.

Prior to the the current scheme, the first character identified the year it was placed in service. When the sceme was first started, it was a suffix but switched to a prefix when all letters of the alphabet had been used (aside from the few that are reserved for special purposes or are not used at all.)
References :
those are nice looking little cars ,but little is the key word here on this one,i test drove one for someone a while back, and I'm not that tall, but it was really small inside and cramped on space, and didn't ride very good at all,it was cheap operated though, but i felt like i was driving a go-kart,i think id look around and see if there was something else i liked, they are good cars ,but just way to small, and very noisy inside also, good luck on it.
References :
been a certified mechanic for 37 yrs.

Well a Ford apprenticeship is between 27000 and 30000 pounds OTE (On Target Earning) and as Ford is a competitor to Jaguar they would be near the same price range.

Hope that helps
